Issues with Closing the Day
Last Updated 6 years ago
You must close the tills before you close the day. You however can close the day if someone is still clocked in, you will just need to adjust that person's time. When you close the day it will automatically clock people out if they are still clocked in on CanPOS. But the till must be closed before the day is closed. You can close the tills manually from the back office.
Go to Store>Settings> go to the far right and choose close till.
- On the IPAD press the Operations button.
- Press Till Management
- Select the Till and close with appropriate amounts
- Select Reports
- Choose the cashiers and press print to get cashout slip
- Press Cashier out to print slip and zero totals
- Press End Day to close out the Sales Day
- Close the Batch if prompted.
- End of Day process will show a check list with any issues listed in red that may impact the end of day process. Clear the errors and submit the end of day.
- If problems persist go to the Close Day Tab from where you can close all cashiers and end the day.
