Configuring Overtime Settings in CanPOS

Navigate to Settings>Overtime Settings

- Sign into the CanPOS back office online at mystore.canposonline.com

- Click on the Settings tab on the Navigation Panel

- Click on the Overtime Settings tab

Daily Overtime – (i.e. Employees are eligible for OT over 8 hours daily)
  • Overtime - Select Daily
  • Daily – Enter number of hours an employee works before earning overtime
  • Effective Date – Enter the date this Overtime setting should become effective
  • Click the Update button when finished

Weekly Overtime – (i.e. Employees are eligible for OT over 40 hours weekly)
  • Overtime - Select Weekly
  • Start Day – Enter first day of pay week
  • Weekly – Enter number of hours an employee works before earning overtime
  • Effective Date – Enter the date this Overtime setting should become effective
  • Click the Update button when finished

Daily & Weekly Overtime – (i.e. Employees are eligible for OT over 8 hours daily and over 40 hours weekly)
  • Create the first Overtime option (either Daily or Weekly)
  • Press Update to save
  • Click the +Overtime button
  • Create the second Overtime option


- Press Update to save
